Almost all institutions use an aptitude test to screen applicants in one or more areas to determine their ability and/or knowledge. In addition to the usual areas of elementary mathematics, english and reasoning, the aspirants are evaluated on their service aptitude.
The questions are MCQ type and in most cases the test is strictly timed. They are designed in such a way that only a few people are able to complete them within the set time limit. Because of this, one will feel under pressure; working quickly, without compromising on accuracy, is important.
